And whatever strikes you of disaster - it is for what your hands have earned; but He pardons much. 30 You cannot challenge God on earth and you will have no one besides Him as your guardian or helper. 31 And of His portents are the ships, like banners on the sea; 32 If He pleases, He causes the wind to become still so that they lie motionless on its back; most surely there are signs in this for every patient, grateful one, 33 Or He can ruin them due to peoples’ sins and He can forgive a great deal. 34 And those who dispute (polytheists, etc. with Our Messenger Muhammad SAW) as regards Our Ayat (proofs, signs, verses, etc. of Islamic Monotheism) may know that there is no place of refuge for them (from Allah's punishment). 35 Whatever ye are given (here) is (but) a convenience of this life: but that which is with Allah is better and more lasting: (it is) for those who believe and put their trust in their Lord: 36 And those who avoid heinous sins and indecencies, and when they are wroth forgive. 37 and those who answer their Lord, and perform the prayer, their affair being counsel between them, and they expend of that We have provided them, 38 who, when they are attacked, defend themselves. 39 The retribution of evil is the equal of evil (done); yet those who forgive and rehabilitate will be rewarded by God. Verily He does not like those who do wrong. 40 And there is no way of reproach against those who take revenge after being wronged. 41 The cause is only against the ones who wrong the people and tyrannize upon the earth without right. Those will have a painful punishment. 42 And verily whoso is patient and forgiveth - lo! that, verily, is (of) the steadfast heart of things. 43
