In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Recite in the name of your Lord Who created, 1 Has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood). 2 Read - for thy Sustainer is the Most Bountiful One 3 Who hath taught mankind by the pen 4 Taught man that which he knew not. 5 No! [But] indeed, man transgresses 6 that he sees himself sufficed. 7 Indeed, to your Lord is the return. 8 HAST THOU ever considered him who tries to prevent 9 a servant of Ours from prayer? 10 Tell me, if he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is on the guidance (of Allah)? 11 Or enjoineth piety? 12 Hast thou seen if he denieth (Allah's guidance) and is froward? 13 Does he not realize that God sees him? 14 No indeed; surely, if he gives not over, We shall seize him by the forelock, 15 his lying sinful forelock. 16 Then, let him call his assembly, 17 We too would summon the braves of the army. 18 No, not at all. Never obey him. But prostrate yourself and become nigh (to your Lord). ۩ 19
