For, God's is the dominion over the heavens and the earth; and on the Day when the Last Hour dawns - on that Day will be lost all who [in their lifetime] tried to reduce to nothing [whatever they could not understand]. 27 And thou wilt see each nation crouching, each nation summoned to its record. (And it will be said unto them): This day ye are requited what ye used to do. 28 This is Our Book, that speaks against you the truth; We have been registering all that you were doing.' 29 So those who believed and did good deeds – their Lord will admit them into His mercy; this is the clear triumph. 30 As to those who disbelieved: What! were not My communications recited to you? But you were proud and you were a guilty people. 31 “And when it was said, ‘Indeed Allah’s promise is true and there is no doubt regarding the Last Day”, you used to say, ‘We do not know what the Last Day is – we think it is nothing except an imagination, and we are not convinced.’” 32 Their evil deeds will be revealed to them and (the torment) which they had mocked will surround them. 33 And it shall be said: Today We forsake you as you neglected the meeting of this day of yours and your abode is the fire, and there are not for you any helpers: 34 That is for that you took God's signs in mockery, and the present life deluded you.' So today they shall not be brought forth from it, nor will they be suffered to make amends. 35 So all praise is for Allah only, the Lord of the heavens and the Lord of the earth, the Lord of the Creation! 36 And for Him only is the Greatness, in the heavens and in the earth; and He only is the Most Honourable, the Wise. 37
