But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And that which ye see not. 39 that this is the speech of an honourable Messenger, 40 It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 A sending down from the Lord of all Being. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 Then none among you would be his saviour. 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 And indeed, We know that among you are deniers. 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 yet indeed it is the truth of certainty. 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
