Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner of their own hath come unto them; and the disbelievers say: This is a strange thing: 2 Shall we be brought back when we are dead and have become dust? That is a return remote! 3 We know what the earth consumes of them, for We have the Book that preserves everything. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 Have they not seen how We have established the sky above them and decked it without gaps and cracks? 6 And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- 7 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. 8 And We sent down out of heaven water blessed, and caused to grow thereby gardens and grain of harvest 9 And tall date-palms laden with clusters ranged. 10 As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection. 11 Cried lies before them the people of Noah and the men of Er-Rass, and Thamood, 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
