Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an. 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 "What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)." 3 Well do We know how the earth consumes their bodies, for with Us is a record unfailing. 4 But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state. 5 Have they not looked at the sky above them, how We have fashioned and adorned it, and it has no flaw? 6 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers and We made every kind of splendid thing to grow upon it 7 as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to God; 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And high date-palms with lush fruit. 10 A provision for (Allah's) slaves. And We give life therewith to a dead land. Thus will be the resurrection (of the dead). 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 And 'Aad and Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot 13 and the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba': every one denied their messengers, and so My warning came true. 14 Did We, then, become worn out by the first creation? Not at all; but they are in doubt about a fresh creation. 15
