Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 Nay; they wondered that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. The unbelievers said: “This indeed is a strange thing. 2 What! when we are dead and have become dust? That is afar (from probable) return. 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth when it came unto them, therefor they are now in troubled case. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? 6 And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- 7 thus offering an insight and a reminder unto every human being who willingly turns unto God. 8 And We sent down out of heaven water blessed, and caused to grow thereby gardens and grain of harvest 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 a provision for the servants, and thereby We revived a land that was dead. Even so is the coming forth. 11 Before them was denied (the Hereafter) by the People of Noah, the Companions of the Rass, the Thamud, 12 And Ad and Firon and Lut's brethren, 13 and the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba': every one denied their messengers, and so My warning came true. 14 Could We, then, be [thought of as being] worn out by the first creation? Nay - but some people are [still] lost in doubt about [the possibility of] a new creation! 15
