We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night.
