AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We! 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Similarly, whenever a Noble Messenger came to those before them they always said, “He is a magician or a madman.” 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 Woe, then, unto those who disbelieve in their Day which they are promised. 60
