Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
