Al-Najm 2 of 3
۞ And many soever are angels in the heavens whose intercession shall not avail at all save after Allah hath given leave for whomsoever He listeth and pleaseth. 26 Those who disbelieve in the Everlasting Life call the angels by female names. 27 And they have no knowledge thereof. They follow but a guess, and lo! a guess can never take the place of the truth. 28 So turn thou from him who turns away from Our Remembrance, and desires only the present life. 29 This is what the extent of their knowledge amounts to. Your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His path and who has been rightly guided. 30 And unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, that He may reward those who do evil with that which they have done, and reward those who do good with goodness. 31 Those who stay away from grave sins and indecency (should know that) for their trivial sins your Lord's forgiveness is vast. He knows best about you. When He created you from the earth and when you were embryos in your mother's wombs. Do not consider yourselves very great. God knows best who is the most righteous person. 32
