The Pharaoh and his people had also received Our warning, 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are your infidels better than these? Or is there an immunity for you in the Writs? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 everything, be it great or small, is recorded. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
