The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ The Beneficent 1 Taught the Qur'an, 2 He created man 3 Has taught him the knowledge of the past and the future. 4 The sun and the moon are made punctual. 5 And the grasses and the trees bow (to Him) in adoration. 6 And the heaven He has raised high, and He has set up the Balance. 7 That you not transgress within the balance. 8 Therefore, maintain just measure and do not transgress against the Balance. 9 He spread out the earth for the people. 10 Therein are fruit and palm-trees sheathed. 11 Grain with husk, and fragrant grasses. 12 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 13 He created man of a clay like the potter's, 14 whereas the invisible beings He has created out of a confusing flame of fire. 15 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 16 He is Lord of the two easts and Lord of the two wests. 17 Which of the powers of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 18 He has given freedom to the two great bodies of water, so that they might meet: 19 With an interstice between them which they cannot cross. 20 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 21 Out of them both come out pearl and coral. 22 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 23 And His are the ships reared aloft in the sea like mountains. 24 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
