Al-Rahman 2 of 3
All that lives on earth or in the heavens is bound to pass away: 26 Yet the Face of your Lord will abide forever, Majestic and Splendid. 27 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 28 Everyone in the heavens and the earth depends on Him. His task in preserving His creation is continuous. 29 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 30 We shall surely aim, O both burdened. 31 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 32 O assembly of jinns and men! If you have power to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass (them)! But you will never be able to pass them, except with authority (from Allah)! 33 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 34 There will be sent against you both, smokeless flames of fire and (molten) brass, and you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 36 And when the sky is rent asunder and becomes red like [burning] oil 37 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 38 Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn. 39 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 40 The guilty ones will be recognized by their faces and will be seized by their forelocks and feet. 41 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 42 This is the Hell which the guilty called a lie. 43 In its midst and in the midst of boiling hot water will they wander round! 44 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? 45
