The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event comes, 1 There is no denying that it will befall - 2 (a calamitous Event) that shall turn things upside down: 3 When the earth is shaken with a shock 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 so that they become as scattered dust 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 So those on the Right Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Records in their right hands), Who will be those on the Right Hand? (As a respect for them, because they will enter Paradise). 8 And those on the left hand; how miserable shall those on the left hand be! 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 These are they who are drawn nigh (to Allah), 11 They will dwell in the Gardens of Bliss: 12 A numerous company from among the first, 13 And a few from among the latter. 14 They will recline on jewelled couches 15 reclining upon them, set face to face, 16 They will be served by immortal boys, 17 carrying goblets and ewers and cups filled with the purest wine, 18 They shall not be affected with headache thereby, nor shall they get exhausted, 19 they will also go about them with the fruits of which they may choose, 20 And meat of birds that they may wish. 21 And (there will be) Companions with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes,- 22 Like unto preserved pearls. 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 Therein they hear no vain or sinful discourse. 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 And the fellows on the right hand; how be happy shall the fellows on the right hand be! 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 and continuous shade, 30 And water flowing constantly, 31 And plenty of fruits. 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 and raised couches 34 Verily We! We have created those maidens by a creation. 35 and We made them spotless virgins, 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 For those on the right hand; 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
