The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Terror descends 1 (and none denies its descending) 2 Abasing exalting. 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 And the mountains are broken down, crumbling 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds. 7 So those on the right how (fortunate) are those on the right! 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 and the Outstrippers: the Outstrippers 10 Those are they who will be brought nigh 11 In gardens of delight; 12 A throng of the ancients, 13 And a few of the later peoples, 14 They will recline on jewelled couches 15 they shall recline, facing each other, 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 with goblets, jugs and cups of crystal clear wine 18 by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk; 19 And with fruits, any that they may select: 20 and the meat of any bird that they may desire; 21 And there will be fair ones large eyed. 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 They will not hear therein any vain or sinful talk, 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 As for the People on the Right, how fortunate shall be the people on the Right! 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 And acacia covered with heaps of bloom, 29 and amid the extended shade 30 And water flowing constantly, 31 and fruits in abundance, 32 Neither ending nor forbidden. 33 and upraised couches. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 So made them as maidens. 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 like of age for the Companions of the Right. 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
