The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the forthcoming event does occur. 1 There is no denying that it will befall - 2 Abasing (one party), exalting (the other), 3 When the earth is shaken with convulsion 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 and will scatter abroad into fine dust. 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 Then those of the left hand -- how (unhappy) will be those of the left hand! 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 Those are they who will be brought nigh 11 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise). 12 a large group of the early believers, 13 and only a few of them from the later generations. 14 They (will be seated) on gold-encrusted couches, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 with goblets, and ewers, and cups filled with water from unsullied springs 18 Unheady, uninebriating; 19 along with fruits of their choice; 20 and the meat of any bird that they may desire; 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 Like unto preserved pearls. 23 a recompense for all that they did. 24 They will not hear therein any vain or sinful talk, 25 (Naught) but the saying: Peace, (and again) Peace. 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, 29 Lengthened shadows, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit, abundant [and varied], 32 That will neither finish, nor ever be stopped. 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 We have indeed developed these women with an excellent development. 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 chastely amorous, 37 like of age for the Companions of the Right. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
