I swear by all that you can see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 that this is the speech of an honourable Messenger, 40 And it is not the speech of a poet. Little it is that ye believe 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
