What ails the unbelievers, running with outstretched necks 36 From the right and the left, in groups? 37 Does every one of them hope to enter [by this means] a garden of bliss? 38 Not at all, for We have created them of what they know. 39 I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests that We have the power 40 To bring better people than they in their place; and they will not be able to thwart Us. 41 So leave them to engage in vain talk and to amuse themselves until they come face to face with the Day which they are promised, 42 The Day whereon they shall come forth from the sepulchres hastily, as though they were to an altar hurrying. 43 humbled their eyes, overspreading them abasement. That is the day which they were promised. 44
