Nay, by the Moon 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 A warning unto humankind 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 Concerning the guilty: 41 "What was it that brought you to Hell?" 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Forsooth, each one of them wants to be given scrolls (of revelation) spread out! 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
