Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 by the brightening dawn, 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 a warning to humans, 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 Except those on the right side. 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 So, the intercession of intercessors will not avail them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 As they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 Nay! But they fear not the Hereafter (from Allah's punishment). 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
