Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 And those that strike violently, 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 for an appointed term? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
