The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the (angels) who tear out (the souls of the wicked) with violence; 1 By those (angels) who gently take out (the souls of the believers); 2 And who glide with ease. 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 by those that direct an affair! 5 The day on which the quaking one shall quake, 6 And the following event will come after it. 7 Hearts on that Day will be throbbing; 8 Unable to lift their gaze. 9 They shall say, 'What, are we being restored as we were before? 10 even after we are fragmented bones' 11 They said, “So this return is an obvious loss!” 12 It will be only one scaring shout, 13 and behold! They will all come out in the open. 14 Have you heard the story of Moses? 15 When his Lord called upon him in the holy valley, twice, 16 saying, "Go to the Pharaoh. He has transgressed beyond all bounds. 17 "And say to him, 'Wouldst thou that thou shouldst be purified (from sin)?- 18 Then I will guide thee to thy Lord and thou shalt fear (Him). 19 Then did (Moses) show him the Great Sign. 20 But he rejected (the truth) and disobeyed. 21 and hastily turned away, 22 Then he gathered his people and cried aloud, 23 and proclaimed, "I am your supreme Lord," 24 And thereupon God took him to task, [and made him] a warning example in the life to come as well as in this world. 25 Verily in this is an instructive warning for whosoever feareth (Allah). 26

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
