Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 What concern do you have to speak about that? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 you are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46
