Al-Infitaar
Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 watching over you 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
