Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 No! But you deny the Recompense. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 noble recorders, 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 And thence they shall not be allowed to be absent. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
