The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heavens and al-tariq. 1 Do you know what al-tariq is? 2 (It is a nightly radiant star). 3 There is no soul but that it has over it a protector. 4 So let man consider of what he was created. 5 He is created from a gushing fluid 6 which comes out of the loins and ribs. 7 Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)! 8 On a Day whereon secrets shall be out. 9 Then will (man) have no power, nor any helper. 10 By heaven of the returning rain, 11 And by the earth which splitteth, 12 Lo! this (Qur'an) is a conclusive word, 13 and is not to be taken lightly. 14 Verily they are plotting a plot. 15 And I (too) will make a scheme. 16 So grant the unbelievers a respite: let them alone for a while. 17
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
