The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
