Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
