Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
