Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
