Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Have you heard about the Overwhelming Event? 1 On that Day, there shall be downcast faces, 2 labouring, toilworn, 3 The while they enter the Blazing Fire,- 4 The while they are given, to drink, of a boiling hot spring, 5 No food for them save the bitterness of dry thorns, 6 Which will neither fatten nor avail against hunger. 7 (Other) faces that Day will be joyful, 8 and pleased with the result of their deeds in the past. 9 In a lofty garden, 10 Where they shall neither hear harmful speech nor falsehood, 11 Therein will be a bubbling spring: 12 [and] there will be thrones [of happiness] raised high, 13 and prepared goblets, 14 And cushions set in rows, 15 and well spread carpets. 16 Do they not then ponder how the clouds were formed; 17 And at the heaven, how it is raised? 18 And the mountains – how they have been established? 19 And at the earth, how it is outspread? 20 (Muhammad), preach; you are only a preacher. 21 thou canst not compel them [to believe]. 22 But whoever turns back and denies the truth, 23 Allah will punish them with the greatest punishment. 24 Indeed only towards Us is their return 25 Ours is surely then to reckon with them. 26
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
