Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the white forenoon 1 And the night when it covers with darkness. 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 Therefor of the bounty of thy Lord be thy discourse. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
