Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
