The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 On that day men shall come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. 6 So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8
