3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 for We saved him and his household from that awesome calamity, 76 And made his progeny survive, 77 and We left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the peoples! 79 Verily, thus We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 80 for he was truly one of our believing servants: 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ And lo! of his persuasion verily was Abraham 83 when he came unto his Lord with a pure heart, 84 Recall what time he said unto his father and his people: What is it that ye worship? 85 Do you want to worship false idols as your lords besides God? 86 Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 Then he looked up at the stars (they worshipped), 88 He then said, “I feel sick (of you)!” 89 So they turned away from him, departing. 90 Then he turned aside to their gods secretly and said: What! do you not eat? 91 "What is the matter with you that you speak not?" 92 Then he turned against them secretly, smiting them with the right hand. 93 Then they (the worshippers of idols) came, towards him, hastening. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 "But Allah has created you and your handwork!" 96 They said, “Construct a building (furnace) for him, and then cast him in the blazing fire!” 97 So they tried to execute their evil scheme upon him We therefore degraded them. (Allah saved him, by commanding the fire to turn cool). 98 And he said, “Indeed I shall go to my Lord Who will guide me.” 99 "My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous." 100 We gave him the good news that he would have a patient, forbearing son. 101 And when (his son) was old enough to walk with him, (Abraham) said: O my dear son, I have seen in a dream that I must sacrifice thee. So look, what thinkest thou? He said: O my father! Do that which thou art commanded. Allah willing, thou shalt find me of the steadfast. 102 So when they both submitted and he threw him down upon his forehead, 103 We called unto him, 'Abraham, 104 “You have indeed made the dream come true”; and this is how We reward the virtuous. 105 that surely was a manifest trial, 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram); 107 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 108 'Peace be upon Abraham' 109 That is how We reward those who do good. 110 he was among Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaq, a Herald of the Hidden, from among those who deserve Our proximity. 112 And We blessed him and Is-haq; and of their offspring are some well-doers and some who wrong themselves manifestly. 113
