The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 Possibly you may risk your life (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) by grieving, because they did not believe. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Verily therein is a sign; yet most of them are not believers. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
