Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 and the earth will throw up all her burdens, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
