The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 dividing the gathering. 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
