The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the chargers panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And raiding at dawn 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
