The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Clatterer! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 The day that men shall be like scattered moths, 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Scale 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 A flaming fire! 11
