The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every scorner and mocker 1 Who amasses wealth and considers it a provision (against mishap); 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which penetrates the hearts 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 in outstretched columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
