The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 [Woe unto him who amasses wealth and counts it a safeguard, 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 Nay, but [in the life to come such as] he shall indeed be abandoned to crushing torment! 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 It will engulf them. 8 In extended columns. 9
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
