Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Have you seen one who denies the Day of Judgement? 1 It is he who turns away the orphan 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
