Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), 6 and prevent the utensils of assistance. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
