Daybreak (Al-Falaq)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
(Muhammad), say, "I seek protection from the Lord of the Dawn 1 “From the evil of His entire creation.” 2 from the evil of darkness as it descends, 3 And from the evil of those who blow on knots, 4 from the evil of an envier when he envies.' 5
True are the words of God the Almighty.
