Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

(Muhammad), say, "I seek protection from the Lord of the Dawn 1 from the evil of what He has created, 2 And from the evil of the utterly dark night when it comes, 3 from the evil of those who blow on knots 4 And from the evil of an envier when he envies." 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
