111 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hood (Hood) before The Hijjr Valley (Al-Hijjr)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Alif Lam Ra. These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) manifest. 1 We have revealed it as a Recitation in Arabic that you may fully understand. 2 We relate to you the best narrative because We have sent the divine revelation of this Qur’an, to you; although surely you were unaware before this. 3 When Joseph said to his father, 'Father, I saw eleven stars, and the sun and the moon; I saw them bowing down before me.' 4 He said: O my son! do not relate your vision to your brothers, lest they devise a plan against you; surely the Shaitan is an open enemy to man. 5 “And this is how your Lord will choose you and teach you how to interpret events, and will perfect His favours upon you and upon the family of Yaqub, the way He perfected it upon both your forefathers, Ibrahim and Ishaq; indeed your Lord is All Knowing, Wise.” 6
