O ye who believe! Seek help in steadfastness and prayer. Lo! Allah is with the steadfast. 153 And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allah, "They are dead." Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not. 154 We shall test you through fear, hunger, loss of life, property, and crops. (Muhammad), give glad news to the people who have patience 155 Those who say when calamity befalls them, “Indeed we belong to Allah and indeed it is to Him we are to return.” 156 They are those on whom are the Salawat (i.e. blessings, etc.) (i.e. who are blessed and will be forgiven) from their Lord, and (they are those who) receive His Mercy, and it is they who are the guided-ones. 157 ۞ Behold! Safa and Marwa are among the Symbols of Allah. So if those who visit the House in the Season or at other times, should compass them round, it is no sin in them. And if any one obeyeth his own impulse to good,- be sure that Allah is He Who recogniseth and knoweth. 158 Indeed Allah curses, and the cursers, too, curse those who conceal the clear teachings and guidance We have sent down, after We have made these plain in the Book for the guidance of all mankind. 159 save such as repent and make amends, and show clearly -- towards them I shall turn; I turn, All-compassionate. 160 But those who disbelieve, and die disbelieving shall incur the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. 161 therein dwelling forever; the chastisement shall not be lightened for them; no respite shall be given them. 162 And your God is one God! there is no god but He; He is the Beneficent, the Merciful. 163
