We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 And we have given unto you livelihoods therein, and unto those for whom ye provide not. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away). 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
